I am so loving this class. This is my 2ND canvas from the She Art Workshop. Still need improvement with the techniques but it's been fun so far. Today I signed up for the Journal workshop in May which is really what I want to do. Christy makes these classes fun to do. I would definitely recommend them.

Kit of the Month Club
This is a kit of the month club from Button Farms. I like the style that the designer has so I joined for 6 months. I have the second one sitting on my table saying "put me together". They are pretty easy to do since I really don't have to think about the design just look at the picture:-) This one is a Bo Bunny 6x6 canvas album.

First She Art Workshop project completed....
I have been wanting to give this mixed media art a try and so I signed up for the She Art Workshop with Christy Tomlinson. I'm so glad that I did. This is my first project and even though I see things I should have or shouldn't have done I was still pleased for the first time attempting this art. It definitely is different in the fact that it is pretty messy at times with all the decoupage and paint flying. I used a bigger canvas than I should have and now I know why....more space to fill for the tall She Art Girl. It's a little hard for me to make the canvas as I call it messy. I guess with my style of scrapbooking it's a little more messy than I'm use to but.....I have thoroughly enjoyed doing this. I really would like to incorporate this media into journaling in the future.

My Canvas House
The other night I was watching a ustream with Prima Live and they were using Donna Downey's pre-made canvas house album to decorate.
I thought hmmmmm. I don't have that pre-made album so I need to make my own. Designed the house on DS and cut the chipboard on the Cricut. I then glued down canvas and dug out my sewing machine and stitched around the edges. I used Glimmer Mist for some color. If I make another one I would try using the jean color canvas. I really like the flowers that I have been ordering from Wild Orchid Crafts.
