Happy 50th BD from Las Vegas

Someone on the Cricut MB was asking people to send her friend cards for her 50th BD. What a great idea to get bombarded with cards for the big "50". I'm not really a card maker but here it is.

Maui in a Bottle

A couple of years ago we went to Maui with my son and a friend of his. My husband and I got married 5 years ago on the beach at Maui. We just happened to be there again on our anniversary. We had such a great time. The boys went surfing and they had a blast. It was so much fun watching them. This is a bottle with sand and shells from Maui and a tag book of pictures.

Mickey and Friends

This is the last of Charlee's albums for Disneyland. Since I had to separate the Princess characters from Mickey's friends.... I used the DS to design the album and my fav BIA to finish it off. I don't know what I would do without my BIA.

"Emily" Blue eyes

I haven't finished my latest project so I thought I would show an album I did a couple of years age. This is my Granddaughter "Emily" and she has the most beautiful eyes. I knew I couldn't resist doing an album about those blue eyes. I made the album using canvas. My inspiration for this album is a designer called "Iggydodie". I have admired her work for along time. She is pretty amazing.

Hummingbird Nest

I normally only put scrapbooking stuff on my blog but today I couldn't resist. I went out to my pomegranate tree and hummingbirds had made a nest. One of the hummingbirds would not leave the branch. I think it was protecting its nest. I had never seen a hummingbird nest before. I love watching them.

Bus Driver Card Holder

I needed a quick card to hold a Starbucks gift card for my son to give tomorrow. Schools almost out and this bus driver has gone out of her way to drop my son off in front of our house. I really appreciate her. I used the Going Places cart and the DS.

Princess Album "Castle"

My Grandaughter went to Disneyland and had dinner with the Princesses. She was so excited. Her face was painted and she was ready for the pictures. Made the shape of the castle album with the DS and used the BIA. Had ribbon on the BIA wires but didn't like the looks so I took it off. May put something on them before I give it to her. More pages were done but the blog wouldn't let me post more than 5 pictures. I need to find out why that happens.
