This is an online class that I took to make this Chunky Idea Keeper.  The cover is made out of Shout Washing Machine Sheets.  Go figure..... Here is a link to the blog.

"Cards for Soldiers" It's that time of year again.

Halloween Time

It's hard for me to pass Halloween and not do a mini even though I'm really not doing much scrapbooking these days. My interests have taken me to doing more mixed media journal things. I didn't cover some of the pages because I liked the paper too much to cover.

Doodling

A Whole New Doodling Class. Practice, practice, practice. Seems like doodling would be easy.

A Little Marion Smith Album with Signatures

This was a fun, fast, easy mini. I used the TH Pocket Envelope die for the pages.

Fabric Disneyland Journal

I made this Journal from an online class with Mary Ann Moss. I decided to do my Journal with our Disneyland Trip adventures. I still need to do a lot more journaling in it before it's actual done. I also can't decide what or how I'm going to do the closure for the journal. Besides the fabric it's mostly using security envelopes, (which I got in our junk mail) patterned paper, and homemade washi tape. I love the idea that Mary Ann Moss journals so much in her albums about her adventures. I don't like my handwriting so it's hard for me to do. Getting better though..... I didn't take photos of all the pages since this album has a lot but it gives an idea of what it looks like.

Silhouette from Disneyland

When we went to Disneyland I wanted to have our Silhouette done because I knew it was going to go in this canvas. I was amazed that it only took about 10 minutes. The details in John's mustache, our eyelashes and my eyeglass frames are unbelievable.

Portfolio with Affirmation Cards

I made this Portfolio while taking the online class of Roben-Marie Smith. The class was called Collage, Construct & Affirm. It was made on canvas and covered with lots of stuff. I used tissue paper, homemade paper and book paper. After the collage was done I used paint, stabilo pencils, wite out, glimmer mist. Had to dig out the sewing machine and zig zag my way around. The Affirmation cards are tucked into the pocket on the inside front cover. I'm not done with the journaling pages yet. I need to doodle and paint and make these pages more messy arty. This was a lot of fun and I can definitely see another one in the future.
